This is Roma, Italy!

I have missed Roma every single day since I have been back in the States. Everything about daily life and living in Italy is so attractive to me. Europeans in general know what is important in life: friends and family. Barely anyone works on weekends, and they take time during the middle of the day where all shops close for Siesta (lunch break). Although this was annoying at times when I needed to grocery shop and everything was closed, it is just second nature to those who live there to shop during the week instead of the weekend.
One of my favorite parts of Italy is the intimacy of restaurant settings, and the live music playing at every piazza. This video is near the pantheon and a man is playing music for all to hear.

Barcelona Video's

Both my pictures and these next three video's are from two different visits to Spain. The first time around we had no idea where we were going or what we should see. As you will note that I was not even sure what mountain I was on in the first video. Second time around Mark lived in Barcelona so he was well aquainted by the time I arrived. Although both experiences were very different, one thing is for sure, Barcelona is a city like no other!

Stockholm, Sweden

I never in my life ever thought to visit Sweden. I knew nothing about it and had no desire to go there. My friend Tiffany and I had planned to go to London while we were studying abroad, but were running short on money. We wanted to take one more trip before going home, and Stockholm tickets were cheap compared to London. It was not one of my favorite countries and it was quite cold compared to Rome which was at the time in the 70's, but it was definitely an educational experience!

Athen's Video

If you like history like I do, you will love Athens! It was spur of the moment and my family and I booked the night before we left, but it was worth it! The Acropolis is located in the center of the city, so whether you are out to eat at a restaurant or sitting at a park, you are constantly being drawn to the Acropolis. It was such a surreal feeling being in the presense of "gods" and "goddesses"... or at least their temples!

Cinque Terre, Italia

Besides Rome, Cinque Terre was my utmost favorite place in Italy. Cinque Terre translated means "Five Terrace's" which is exactly what it is. It is a small island consisting of five villages which are a few miles apart from eachother. A hike is recommended to take in the most beautiful views you will ever see. Ananya and I hiked for 7 hours straight from village to village on a three foot edge which drops off to the med. sea. It was quite a change going from a popular city to a very local village. If I had it my way I would get married here it is that breathtaking!

Dublin Video's

These two video's are from the two most exciting parts of this trip: The pub and on the top level of the Guinness Storehouse! The pub video is quite dark but everything you have ever imagined about an Irish pub could never compare to really being here! Just listening to the music itself gives off positive energy. Enjoy!
