Welcome! I Studied Abroad in Roma, Italia in the Spring of 2008 during my Junior year of college. (January 13-May 14). Not only was I able to emerse myself and experience life as a local, but I had the opportunity to travel and see soo many other European Countries every weekend. This was the most unforgettable and lifechanging experience I could ever ask for. Not only did I make memories I will always cherish, but friends who will last a lifetime. Enjoy looking through the pictures of my travels and becomming familiar with my favorite continent to date, Europe!

This is Roma, Italy!

I have missed Roma every single day since I have been back in the States. Everything about daily life and living in Italy is so attractive to me. Europeans in general know what is important in life: friends and family. Barely anyone works on weekends, and they take time during the middle of the day where all shops close for Siesta (lunch break). Although this was annoying at times when I needed to grocery shop and everything was closed, it is just second nature to those who live there to shop during the week instead of the weekend.
One of my favorite parts of Italy is the intimacy of restaurant settings, and the live music playing at every piazza. This video is near the pantheon and a man is playing music for all to hear.
